This Privacy Policy explains how cvdox collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our service.

Our baseline: your content is private unless you explicitly make it public. We collect only what is necessary to operate the product.

Account: email, passwordless authentication identifiers, session/account metadata.

Profile data: role history, achievements, preferences, and generation inputs.

Content data: uploaded documents, submitted text, and provided links.

Usage data: operation logs, credit events, diagnostics, and support messages.

To deliver core features: generation, editing, export, and document management workflows.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant cvdox a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store it solely for delivering the service, providing support, maintaining security, and preventing abuse.

To maintain service quality, reliability, abuse prevention, and user support.

To process payments and maintain accurate billing and credit records.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your personal content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

We may use aggregated and anonymized data to improve service performance, reliability, and safety.

All profiles and generated documents are private by default.

Content becomes publicly accessible only when you explicitly enable sharing or public visibility through product controls.

You are solely responsible for content you choose to publish and any consequences from shared or public links.

You may submit public links and documents that you are authorized to use. Do not submit confidential third-party data unless you have the right to share it with cvdox.

Current profile limits: up to 100 links and 100 documents per profile scope. These may change as the platform scales.

By submitting content, you confirm you hold the necessary rights to it.

We work with service providers for infrastructure, storage, analytics, and payment processing. We share only the minimum data required to operate those services.

We do not sell, rent, or broker your data to advertisers or data marketplaces.

We may disclose information when legally required, such as in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.

We retain data as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, and enforce terms.

Some operational logs and billing records may be retained for legal, tax, or compliance purposes even after account closure.

You may request deletion of account data through in-app support. Certain records required by law cannot be deleted on request.

We protect user data through layered administrative, technical, and operational safeguards, including strict access controls, encrypted data transmission, and secure passwordless authentication handling.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for protecting your account access and promptly reporting any suspected unauthorized access.

You can update profile data, manage document visibility, download your data, and revoke shared access directly from within the product.

For account-level actions, including data deletion requests, contact us through in-app support channels or support@cvdox.com.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including access, correction, deletion, and portability of your data.

Where applicable law grants additional rights, we will honor valid requests within a reasonable timeframe.

cvdox is not directed at children under the minimum age required by local law for independent digital consent, typically 13 in the US and 16 in the EU/UK.

If we become aware that a minor has registered without required parental consent, we will promptly delete the account and associated data.

cvdox operates with infrastructure and service providers across different regions. Your data may be stored or processed outside your country of residence.

By using the service, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data in jurisdictions where our providers operate.

We take reasonable steps to ensure our providers maintain appropriate data protection standards.

We may update this policy as the product and applicable law evolve. For material changes, we will notify users via email or in-product notice where reasonably practicable.

Continued use of cvdox after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
